Abby having some cereal.  She definately doesn't love it!

Luke asked if he could vacuum one day.  I was more than happy to let him try.  Of course when he was done Matthew had to try!  I will never turn down help.  Especially now when they like to help.  I'm sure in a few years it won't be nearly as easy to get them to help.  =)

Nathan turned 3 on September 7th.  Of course we had a party for him and of course we had to have a "Car's" cake.  He was excited to see it that morning and managed to pull it off the counter when no one was in the kitchen.  It didn't do too much damage though.  Mator had a small car wreck, but that was it.  Nathan thought he should be able to drive the cars all over the cake.  At one point Lightening McQueen also had a car wreck.  =)

Everyone eating Nathan's car wreck cake.

Showing off his cars.

Abby is now on the move.  No, she isn't crawling.  About a month ago she started pushing herself all over the place with her feet.

She started at the bottom of this picture where the blanket is balled up and ended up stopping at the couch.  I swear she has "restless leg syndrome"!  Her legs never stop moving!

This kid is so funny!

Jack had to hold Abby one day when he was at our house.

We found these new pajamas the other day.  I should have bought more than one because I had a hard time convincing him to take them off so I could wash them.  What kid wouldn't want Superman pajamas that have a cape?!

But Superman got tired and needed some rest.

Luke and Peytie jumping on her trampoline.

Jake was making sure Joe got everything destroyed in his garden.  He's so helpful!  =)  If you don't believe me just check out the next picture...

He never gets into anything! =)

Labor Day weekend

Over labor day weekend we went to Grandma's to paint her house.  We ended up siding it instead.  I still had to paint the windows and eaves.  Her house looks beautiful.  I don't have an after picture yet because I just finished this Friday.  I will try to get one soon!

Jared took the bucket truck over to do some quick painting up above.  Here are a few pictures of the view from the full 65 feet up.

Another week come and gone...

Aunt Katie made Abby a very cute tutu. It is adorable!! Thank you, Katie!!!

I took Abby to the doctor yesterday for her 4 month check up. She now weighs 11 pounds. She is in the 50th percentile for height and 10th for weight. Sounds a lot like her Daddy. She is doing great. We did have to up her dosage for acid reflux, but that is the only problem we had. YAY for a healthy baby!!!!

We went to Lincoln this last weekend to help Emma (our neice) celebrate her 1st birthday.

We did a lot of family activities and had a lot of fun!

Of course we have to stay where they have a pool! Everyone enjoyed the swim! Including my oldest child- Jared.

Cami and Mike hung out with us at the pool. Cami is SOOOO good with the kids and even took them all to a park to play. She was the only adult. She is my hero!!!!

At Emma's birthday party enjoying the yummy cake.

Emma and her cake. It was so cute you could barely see her with her cake there.

We went to the Lincoln Zoo and the kids had a blast. It has a lot of fun things for little kids. Nathan loved the goats and a few tried to give him kisses.

Feeding the camels.

Abby loved the zoo, but for different reasons than the other kids. She was carried around the entire time.

Luke's first ride on a pony. The other boys wouldn't try it.

Sawyer with Abby's tutu (from Aletha) on.

We were hanging outside one day and the boys ended up falling into the mud. Jared went ahead and undressed them outside since they were covered in it. Nathan hates to be dirty, but the other kids decided to take advantage of a mud hole right outside the house. I always figured a little bit of mud never hurt anyone- except maybe the Mom who has to clean up the mess...

Matthew making more mud. This is where we are going to make a sand box for the kids...

Jacob after playing.

He loves mud. Well, actually he loves anything that makes a mess.

Having way too much fun!
