Something to cheer you up!!

I wasn't going to post this, but I thought you all might need a good laugh this Monday. Jared and I have been looking for a vehicle that fits our family for a while now. The suburban was great, but Jared had to crawl through the hatch in back to put Matthew in. Well, we drove by a lot in McCook on Saturday and there was a van sitting there. We decided to look at it. I was pretty sure we wouldn't be buying it, afterall, I wouldn't be caught driving that thing!! LOL! Well, after driving it and finding out we would save money every month we decided to buy it!! Here it is....

I'm pretty sure it aged us about 10 years! But it is so comfortable and the kids fit well and no more opening the back up to get Matthew in! Theres even room for one more!!

Easter

I received this in an e-mail and thought it was really neat. With all the Easter Egg Hunts I thought it would be good to post something about the true purpose of Easter...

Easter

We spent our Easter at Nana and Papa's in Roscoe. We all had a lot of fun!! I took very random pictures...
This picture isn't centered, but Jacob's smile is worth posting. He was smiling for Aunt Becky!

Jacob's cute Easter outfit.

Jacob taking a bath this morning. He usually loves his bath, but I had to wake him up this morning and he wasn't happy about it.

Our week with Kenna...

Kenna had Spring Break this last week and so she got to come visit us! We had a lot we wanted to accomplish in the week, but we ended up with the flu. I was sick Monday night and Tuesday and Kenna ended up getting sick Tuesday night and part of Wednesday. It made the week interesting. We all enjoyed the visit (except the flu). The time went very fast. We can't wait until the summer when she will be back for 6 weeks!! I'll keep you posted on that.

Grandma Tami and Jacob.
Kenna and Luke outside in the snow. I'm not sure how they managed to make it outside without their hats and gloves. They ran around the house for 15 minutes trying to find them, but when I went out to take the picture they didn't have any on. Right after I took the picture I made them get them on. I looked out 10 minutes later and they had taken them off again!

Grandma Elaine and Jacob.
Kenna and Nathan. Nathan was very attached to Kenna. He didn't like her talking or holding Jacob at all. He would try to sit in her lap when she was holding him. Needless to say there isn't enough room in her lap for both!! It got interesting a few times, but he eventually got use to her playing with her other brothers.

Pictures from Papa Jerry!

The following pictures are from my Dad. He rode with Jared to pick Kenna up from the airport. He also took a bunch of pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt last weekend.

Kenna's here!!

Kenna's here!!!
Jared picked Kenna up at the Grand Island airport today. Everyone was happy to see each other. They are starting to settle down now. They have been running around playing hard for the past two hours.

Kenna and Jacob.

Tackling Dad. Pretty soon he won't be able to take them on by himself!

Matthew didn't feel well today. He seems to be doing better now! I went around the house with my Clorox wipes again. Hopefully no one else gets it.

Easter Egg Hunt

We took the boys to two Easter Egg Hunts this weekend. One in Hayes Center and the other in Palisade. In Palisade they were able to decorate the eggs first. They had a lot of fun!

10 Things About Me...

I was tagged by... Tiffany.

Here's how you play. Once you've been tagged you have to write a blog of ten weird, random things, facts or habits about yourself. At the end, you choose five people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them to be tagged. Don't forget to leave them a comment "You're it!" and tell them to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag that person back, let her know when you've posted your blog so she can read your answers.

1. I love to get my hands dirty working in the yard and I love to mow.

2. The only cereal I like is Cheerios.

3. Two months after all my children are born I start having baby fever! Shocking I know!

4. I'm not pregnant right now! I know a few of you were wondering!

5. I like chocolate chip cookie dough, but not the cookies.

6. I love to cook!

7. I like to do things people tell me I can't do. I like to prove them wrong.

8. When I was a kid I had a habit of bringing home stray cats and strange pets. I brought a pig home from my Grandma and Grandpas because it was a runt, we had guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, sheep, ducks, dogs, cats, birds, etc... and we lived in town.

9. I bite my lip when I'm mad.

10. I've never broken a bone or had stitches until I had my first baby.

Tag your it...
Mindy... We don't talk enough and I think your answers would be funny.
Sarah... You just love filling these things out.
Vanessa... I've known you all my life, but I'm sure I'd still be shocked by some of your answers.
Katie... I feel like I know you the best, but I still might be surprised by a few of your answers.
Kristin... I'd like to know more about you.

Nana has a few empty spots on her lap she needs to fill!!!

Matthew and Nathan talking on the phone.

Jared was gone for part of this week, so Luke decided to take advantage of it and sleep in our bed. I think we're going to need a bigger bed if all the kids decide to try it.

This is the John Deere Nathan tried to fly off the steps. I think he learned a few things. The John Deere doesn't fly, to let one of his brothers test those thing out first and concrete hurts.

We walked down to get Luke from the bus a couple times this week. All the boys enjoyed the beautiful weather and getting out.
