I'm so behind...

We had a small gathering at our house for Thanksgiving.  It was a nice relaxing day and we enjoyed several games that afternoon.

The Friday after Thanksgiving we decorated the tree at the Methodist Church.  We do this every year in memory of my Grandpa Pinky.  Grandma was pretty sure he was smiling down on us as we laughed and enjoyed ourselves.

Jared went over to my brother's house one day to help him move and decorate a tree.  He called at one point and said- "It's official, your brother lost his mind."  To see pictures of it go to Peyton and Sawyer's blog.  It is pretty cool!

We went to see my Grandma Vrbas the first week in December.  The boys love going there and playing with her toys.  As you can tell by Jake, my boys will undress anywhere.

Luke went to my parents one day and Nana and Papa took Matthew and Nathan for the night.  Jacob enjoyed his time with Mom and Dad a lot!

 Abby and I making cookies.

We added a few more helpers.  We were doing some dancing too.  That is a must for baking cookies.  Everyone must do a little dancing in the kitchen!

Abby would love to crawl.  She really would.  However, she finds it a lot easier to look at a toy and scream until a brother runs over and gets it for her.  She is a princess!

Luke's school did a little play for their Christmas program.  It was cute.  He is in this group somewhere.  He didn't sing.  In fact he stood there not moving an inch while everyone around him was swinging their arms and singing away.  He said he got some stage fright!  He looked very handsome standing up there though!

On December 20, we went to Roscoe early in the morning so we could surprise Jared's Mom for her birthday.  While she was at church Jared's sister Katie was preparing for a birthday party.  We arrived to help her get set up and so did Jared's sister Britni.  After moving our vehicles so she wouldn't see them we hid in her bedroom when she walked in.

 SURPRISE!!

 50 gifts from her kids

Of course the grandkids have to help!

A little boy who didn't want to take a nap.  Instead of fighting him all afternoon I told him to sit quietly on the couch and read his book.  I went in to do dishes and came back to find him fast asleep!  Mom won that battle!  =)

My Dad has some very strange hobbies. He walks all the way from his house to our house with his snow blower.  He clears everyone's sidewalks in between and then cleans ours too.  I think he also does the Lutheran Church while he is at it.  I think it's time he took up bowling or something.

 Thanks, Dad!
