I went to check on the kids last night and this is what I found. I didn't even make it into the bedroom when I found Matthew sleeping on the floor in the hallway!

Swimming lessons have been going better. They have another week to go!

Swimming lessons

Luke and Matthew are taking swimming lessons this year. The first day went well, the boys went under and went off the boards and seemed to be getting use to the water. However, yesterday was a completely different story. Both boys spent the entire half hour screaming for me! After a lecture from me and a time out when we got home I hope today goes better!

Jacob is trying to do something new everyday. He is now sitting up, can go from sitting up to his tummy and is army crawling- FAST! He can get from point A to point B very quickly.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I know I was posting close to every other day for awhile there. Things have been a little interesting at the Blackman's Zoo. For one, I ended up with the flu on Thursday. I didn't feel well that morning and by that afternoon I could hardly move. My Mom came to pick Jacob up and I did my best to take care of the other four kids. The worst part about it was that it was the day before Kenna was leaving and I had all her stuff to round up, laundry to finish up and to pack her bags. I still managed to do all of it, but she did go home without a few things! Then Jared ended up getting the flu on the way home from KC. Saturday night Nathan started to come down with it and now Matthew has it too! Jared and I aren't feeling 100% yet either! Hopefully, we will all be feeling better soon!

To make things even harder to update my blog is the fact that the boys (Matthew and Nathan) did their best to ruin my keyboard on my laptop....

It makes typing very intersting. I got an old keyboard and hooked it up for now. Jared wasn't pleased at all! Oh the joys of raising boys!!!

Another week...

Jared took Kenna to KC to her Grandma's house on Friday. It's hard to believe the six week visit is over already. Time flew by! We had fun though!

It didn't take long for the boys to go back to their ornery little ways after Kenna left. Nathan trying out the little wagon.

Sis and I have hung out a lot this week. They just moved back to the area! It is good to have them back! Jacob seems to think so too!

4th of July weekend.

We went to Papa and Nana's house for the 4th of July. We spent a long weekend hanging out and enjoying some family time. Saturday was Katie's baby shower. The kids enjoyed doing fireworks, playing with cousins and being spoiled!

Matthew had a bad habit of streaking the entire weekend. The funniest part about it is he would wear Kenna's shoes, but nothing else and walk around the yard.
