Jared's poor hand!

Jared had his stitches taken out today. Needless to say things haven't healed very well. He has a big gap and it will leave a pretty good scar. The doctor thought he should have had twice as many stitches on the inside to help hold it together. He also has a little nerve damage, but nothing they can do anything about. He's lucky that is all that is wrong for how deep it was!

Katie asked me to post a picture of Jared's stiches on his hand. He's still sore, but it hasn't slowed him down any. He goes to the doctor on Friday to have the stitches out.

Updates

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Thing have been a little crazy around here. Jared and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary last Sunday and Jared also turned 28. We got to spend a night out thanks to Grandma Elaine. She didn't even bat an eye when we asked her to watch three little boys over night!!! It was great to get a full night sleep and to spend some time with Dave, Amy and Jack. Thanks Grandma Elaine! We truly appreciate it!

This week Jared has been in Omaha! I can't wait for him to be home tomorrow!!!! The days haven't been too bad, but the nights are really long!

Luke had a few days off from preschool thanks to the rain. He was ready to get back today. He spends 90% of his day outside. I am lucky to get him to sit down to eat his meals. His bunny is still around. He now eats out of his hand and loves carrots. I don't think he would make it if we let him go at this point.

Matthew is doing great. He loves to climb on anything and everything. He has been talking a lot more and even told me No today. I was a little surprised and I'm hoping it is going to be something new he does.

Nathan has been learning how to grab ahold of things and pull himself up. He doesn't have very good balance yet. He also loves to crawl under the table and anywhere else he can fit. He usually gets stuck and starts screaming.

Overall we are all healthy and happy! We couldn't ask for anything more!

Luke's day!

Luke went to hang out with Papa Jerry and Grandma Tami today. He spent all day helping them outside. They saw a bunny in Papa's yard and Luke talked Papa Jerry into catching it. It sounds like they ran all over trying to catch it and finally caught it by the house. Luke says he just wants to keep it for a few days and then let it go... we will see how that works out!
