Abby's progress...

Since Abby's arrival we have been having some good and some not so good moments. Abby arrived a few weeks early and so her lungs weren't developed. She is having an extended stay at the hospital.

Last night she ended up having a collapsed lung and was intebated. Today she is doing MUCH better. She is getting stronger and it will take some time to get to where she needs to be. Its hard to not be able to hold her, I'll have time when she gets out and I have no intentions of ever letting go!

Easter Day at Nana's House

Nathan tuckered out from a long day. He slept like this for two minutes.

Easter Eggs

On Easter morning we woke up to Easter eggs all over the house. I had a hard time getting Matthew to wait for Nathan and Jacob to find the eggs. Once Nathan and Jacob were up neither one of them were too worried about finding eggs. Nathan sat and watched the other boys gather the eggs.

We decorated eggs on Friday. The boys loved it, although I couldn't get them to do anything fun or creative!

I decided ahead of time to buy the food coloring to do our eggs instead of the tablets. I knew one of the kids would try to drink the water. Sure enough, Nathan wouldn't quit trying to drink his orange color.

I wasn't going to post this picture of Jared and I, but couldn't resist.

34 weeks

I'm really not a fan of posting these baby bump pictures, but since I've had a few people asking for them, here you go. I feel like I have blown up- and then some. Only about 4 more weeks to go! YAY!

Another baby gift...

My Grandma has always made the kids a baby blanket. They are all different and special. This one was made in record time! I had picked this pattern out and was hoping Grandma could teach me how to crochet. After looking closer at the pattern and the instructions I realized I might have picked the wrong one to start with. Not to mention, it probably wouldn't have been finished until she graduated from college. Thankfully, Grandma offered to make it for her.

We had movie night a few times this week. This is the blank stares I get from my boys when they are involved in a movie.

Randomness

Jacob loves to get into everything. It's cute sometimes. The other day he got this skillet out and carried it around for a long time. Then he found some toys and climbed in it. I'm not sure what he was pretending it was, but it was really cute.
I'm pretty sure that Jared is also pregnant. This is my first pregnancy that he has had symptoms with me. He has gained weight, felt sick on the same days I have, had hot flashes and eats some seriously strange food. There are more things, but I won't get into all of them. His favorite snack is pickles and shredded cheese- together. My strangest craving so far is apples.

Doctor appointment

I had a doctor's appointment today. I was glad it was early this morning so we could get home early and miss traveling in the snow. Everything seems to look good, although I am measuring small. He decided to do an ultra sound to get measurements. She measures perfect. In fact, he said he thinks she weighs around 4 lbs. He did another 3D ultra sound. These weren't as good as the first because she had her hand in her face, but here is the best shot he could get...
