Fire Trucks, Messes and Dresses

Miss Abby being goofy.  Abby's great Aunt Sara made her the blanket she is carrying.  It is one of her favorites.

Abs and her Daddy at bed time.  Abby's hair is so curly in the back.  However she sleeps on it and it flattens it out.  We might have to change her bath time to the morning so we can enjoy the curls more.
Last week was Fire Prevention Week.  The local fire department did a little presentation for the kids.  They came home so excited about it.
 Nathan's class.
 Matthew's class.

Three of the boys helping Dad.  I hope when they get older they want to help as much as they do now.
The two foreman at the job site.  They were pretty busy.  :)

Jake, Jake, Jake...  What can I say about Jake?  I would like to say this mess is courtesy of my dog, but the truth of the matter is, it was Jake.  He is good at making messes and he really enjoys it.  I can guarantee I don't enjoy it nearly as much as he does.
 Neither does Grace.
Saturday, October 9th was the Annual Pancake Feed here in Palisade.  This year they did the fire truck rides again.  We ALL had so much fun on it.  Thank you to the Fire Department for everything you guys do!

Miss Abby loves to dress up.  She loves clothes and dresses and frilly stuff.  I always thought she would hate to wear dresses, but so far she LOVES them.

Hanging out with Olivia

 Olivia and her Mommy.
She was the center of attention.
 Nathan wanted to hold her.
Sabrina read a lot of books to the kids.
 Eating ice cream.
Grandma Elaine and Olivia

This and That From Our Daily Life

The boys are both enjoying preschool.  They love to get home and show me what they did that day.

Jake was sitting in time out one day and Abby decided to keep him company.

This year I fought Jake to not pull my flowers out of my flower pots.  I finally gave up after he killed them all off.  Now it looks like I'm going to fight Grace for my flower pots too.  It's her new favorite place to take a nap.

Luke and Matthew have been going to AWANA.  They both love it.  Matthew was so excited last Wednesday because he got two stickers in his book.

Nathan's Birthday Party

I should probably start this post off by saying I didn't take the pictures for Nathan's party.  My friend Charlie was nice enough to grab my camera and take pictures for me.  However, because of this I have no idea what is going on in some of the pictures.  That and there are more of me than I am comfortable with, but I'll deal with it.

I made Nate's cake too.  I am just going to say that I improved from Luke's but I'm still not going to quit my day job.

Ummm... Sawyer, honey, you dropped something.  Or a lot of somethings...  I think she enjoyed her cake.

I love this picture...  Love ya, Charlie!  :)
Opening gifts.  I think there is a child trying to crawl into my lap.

The birthday boy and his Mommy.
No party has started until you get out the pirate patches.  We know how to throw a party around here.

 Hannah enjoying herself.
Nathan showing Grandma Vrbas a picture of the airplane he got to fly in.

 Grandma Elaine
I'm not sure... and evidently neither is he.

Jared and Grandma decided to play cards during the party.  I'm pretty sure Grandma won because Jared always complains he never wins.  It's a good thing he doesn't gamble.
