We really are a zoo... or a farm.

We are getting ready to move to the farm.  For those that don't know we bought a house out in the country and we will be moving as soon as we can paint and fix a few things that need to be done before we move.  In the process of preparing to move we have bought baby chicks and a few ducks.  Some of the chickens are for butchering and the others are egg layers.

We also got a new dog.  Her name is Holly and she is a golden retreiver.  She is a very good dog and will love it on the farm.  She likes to take naps with Jake.  She also spends her day with Jared at the office.

Holly looks like a sweet dog and it's the second post I've read today about chickens - it's making me wish we lived just a bit out in the country so we could have some! :)
You have such a sweet family and how wonderful it's going to be for you living in your new home on the farm.
Blessings always,
Linda

So happy for you! How fun for the kids to have baby chicks and other animals. I find myself wishing at times that we lived in the country too...but I'm just thankful for small town life! :)
