Maya's Day

As I said in my previous post we all gather together on Maya's day to spend the day together and celebrate her life.  This year we started out by making 4 different kinds of cookies.  Of course the kids joined in and helped.

 Betty and Jacob.  Jacob refused to let his balloon go and then all the kids fought over it.

Through the rest of the day we were joined by Joe and Sarah and Peyton and Sawyer.  We had prime rib for supper and played games that evening.  Thank you everyone who joined us for the day, who called, sent messages and reached out to us.  I couldn't imagine spending the day any other way!
